Northern Edge Hockey School Scholarship Offer

Special Opportunity

 Northern Edge is pleased to provide the Dallas Scots Hockey Association, 1 Full Scholarship for a player to attend a Northern Edge Hockey Camp this summer. This is a tremendous opportunity for youth players, who may otherwise not have the chance to attend a summer hockey camp like Northern Edge.

In order to be eligible for this scholarship, the player must have been an active member of the Dallas Scots Hockey Club this past season and a returning player this season, if you should be considered for this scholarship and what an opportunity like this would mean to you as an individual. The scholarship request deadline is May 16, 2008 with all
winners being posted on the Dallas Scots Hockey Club website
June 1, 2008.

Northern Edge Hockey is an industry leader in hockey instruction. Special Event:

Saturday, May 10, 3:30 – 5:00 PM we are offering a FREE Open Skate for all 96 & 97 players at ITC. We will have several Scots coaches on hand if you are interested in learning more about the Scots Organization. This will be a FUN time skating and scrimmaging.

The Dallas Scots Hockey Association (DSHA) was founded as a non-profit organization located in Dallas, Texas. DSHA is staffed with Board Members, coaches and volunteers who give their time in support of a well rounded Mite through Midget youth hockey program.

Our professional and experienced USA Hockey certified coaching staff works to build character, teamwork, sportsmanship and life skills to benefit the players both on and off the ice as well as a passion for the game of hockey.

We look at our program as a spring board for the individual players to achieve the next level of youth hockey in high school and at college levels that provide these institutions with well trained, disciplined and motivated student-athletes.

We encourage the highest standards both on and off the ice in order for our players to achieve their fullest potential as student-athletes.

 

Dallas Scots Hockey Association (DSHA)

The success of the DSHA is dependent on parent volunteer help. As a parent you may be called upon to participate in the operation of the Association. Parents may be requested to volunteer during our annual DSHA Cold War Tournament. Additional work may include fundraising, tryouts, and public relations. Parents are also needed to serve as team representatives, team managers, and game workers. Please consider how you can contribute to the betterment of our Association.

Your involvement will offer opportunities to meet other parents in the Association and you will experience the satisfaction of providing the highest quality youth hockey program for all of our players.
